About Delta Cyber School

The mission of the Delta Cyber School (DCS) is to prepare students with the knowledge and technological skills to compete and succeed in the 21st century. To this end, Delta implements a variety of instructional methods to stimulate learning for students.

Students are provided with a foundation of basic course content and then asked to use the material in a more meaningful way—through projects, assessments, discussions, etc. Students communicate with the instructor via online web-conferencing and an internal messaging system. Self-grading quizzes, internet research projects, online review games, discussion boards, surveys, and other assignments help students learn and use the information covered in courses, which are presented through the Blackboard learning platform.

Delta Cyber School Accreditation

Delta Cyber School is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS).

Delta Cyber School Programs

Most of the program curriculum is written by Delta teachers based on their prior experiences with teaching the courses. A few courses are based on textbooks, and the foreign language courses use an online textbook. Many of Delta’s math classes use an online program which individualizes a progression of lessons based on student strengths and weaknesses. Review is incorporated in the lessons as needed
