About Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow

Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow is the first and most popular tuition-free online public school in Ohio, with over 10,000 enrolled students in grades K-12. The school’s online education is made up of highly qualified teachers, a broad range of online courses using state-aligned curriculum content, and an innovative learning management suite called IQity. The program has four schools divided by grade levels (K-5, 6-7, 8, 9-12) as well as a department devoted to students with special needs. In addition to the Electronic Classroom’s virtual office, there are Regional Educational Centers located in Columbus and Dayton that offer on-site orientation, training, activities and more.

The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow offers socialization opportunities to provide balance to its online students. In addition to a junior and senior prom in May, a graduation ceremony in June, and numerous clubs and activities, the school offers grade-level appropriate field trip opportunities for its families. These extracurricular activities allow students to meet their classmates, teachers, and other families.
