About Orion High School

Orion High School was founded by teachers who have a passion for helping learners be successful. Orion opened on August 2007 after a year in development. Currently, Orion serves learners from Michigan, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Indiana, and Illinois. Orion was conceptualized by teachers who recognized the value of online learning for students of all ages.

Orion’s e-learning system was developed by the founders, so upgrades to the system are driven by customer requirements. Orion’s courses consist of up to ten modules, with the final examination being the sole-source for the learner’s grade. Learners have up to three months to complete courses, and final examinations are taken on the first day of the month. According to an internal study, Orion provides the lowest per-course tuition of any online school.
