About Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School

At PA Cyber, students are not required to fit into the rigid structures of a traditional brick and mortar school. Instead, they are given an unprecedented degree of accessibility, flexibility, and efficiency so that they have the opportunity to receive a high quality education and prepare for their future. Students are offered personal attention from teachers, and have more extensive course offerings than traditional schools.

After a student is enrolled in PA Cyber, a personalized education plan is created in close consultation with the student and family. An Instructional Supervisor, who is a certified teacher, is assigned to each student and plays a crucial role in the student’s success by helping the family choose a curriculum for their student, closely monitoring the student’s progress, maintaining academic records, and maintaining regular contact with the student and family. Students at PA Cyber have several curricula from which to choose, but all of them fall into two broad categories: asynchronous self-paced learning and synchronous real-time learning.

PA Cyber offers various field trip opportunities throughout the year for students, their families and friends. PA Cyber students can establish friendships with fellow classmates by participating in the Virtual Classroom, the Family Link and PA Cyber++. Several students also create lasting friendships by joining clubs and teams in their local communities.
