About Spokane Virtual Learning

Spokane Virtual Learning makes it easy for districts to provide their own online learning program with no upfront costs. The program exists to support the development of hybrid or blended classrooms with instruction that combines traditional face-to-face contact with online Blackboard courses. Blended classrooms provide expanded learning opportunities for both students and teachers. The online component of Spokane Virtual School is available on the internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students can work from school, a library, home, or any place with a regularly-accessible internet-connected computer.

Students enrolled with Spokane Virtual work at their own pace within the structure of a standard semester schedule. Online instructors work with all enrolled students, and are qualified to provide increased instructional support for at-risk students.
