About Virtual Learning Academy of St. Clair County

The Virtual Learning Academy is a public school academy chartered by the St. Clair County RESA to meet the needs of regional at-risk students. Virtual Learning Academy staff and teachers work together to make sure that every student who enrolls leaves with control over their academic and career future. The program utilizes e2020 to provide education materials and performance assessment to online learners. With e2020 a student will not be allowed to continue with the course until he or she earns a passing grade for every quiz and test. This way, a student will never fail a class at the Virtual Learning Academy.

When students register, an enrollment specialist helps them chart an academic map for success. Previous transcripts are analyzed to see what each student needs to graduate, and classes are assigned accordingly. Students are offered access to many programs and career building services to help them in the next step after they earn a high school diploma.
